Gordon is a proven cheater because he got caught.Jeffy wins the Chevy Monte Carlo 400 at Richmond~Racin...under the lights... The way it should be~ Or Was it?? Questions now come up about Jeffys car, and the "issues" on the #24 car. (aka Gray areas)

Well, it's a start, but it's not enough. This stuff will continue, until wins, money, points and possibly a few race suspensions are levied against drivers that are caught crossing the line. No exceptions. He's done this crap year after year. And he and his crew just love pushin the envelope with magnesium. In Charlotte a few years ago, it was the magnesium wheels (and a $50,000 fine for Ray). Now, the manifold? How much else have they switched to magnesium, when nobody's lookin?? NASCAR officials have levied penalties for rules violations found during post-race inspection following the September 9, 2000 Cup race at Richmond. Robbie Loomis, crew chief for the #24 NASCAR Winston Cup Series team, has been fined $25,000 for violations of the 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup Series rule book, Section 12-4-Q: "Any determination by NASCAR Officials that the parts and/or equipment used in the Event do not conform... or have not been approved by NASCAR..." In addition to the fine, Jeff Gordon, driver of the #24 car, will suffer a loss of 100 driver points. A reduction of 100 owner points also has been levied against team owner, Rick Hendrick. "The General Motors intake manifold that the #24 team used during Saturday night's race in Richmond has not been approved," said Mike Helton, NASCAR's Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer."The GM part number on the casting was the same, however, a different material was used which altered the properties of the casting."The changed casting was not resubmitted by GM for NASCAR's approval in accordance with our procedures." Dale doesn't need the money, but what about that poor fan loosing 1 MILLION Dollars after pacing all night, because "Twitface" won due to what was later termed "Issues"?? Issues, hell! Check this out! ~ Ain't this a pisser?? Fan stuck in second Shari Robertson of Savannah has enjoyed her 15 minutes of fame as a NASCAR fan. Robertson was paired with Dale Earnhardt in a sweepstakes at Richmond on Saturday, and she would have won $1 million if the driver had won the race. Earnhardt finished second, but winner Jeff Gordon was penalized for using an "unapproved part." However, NASCAR allowed Gordon to keep the victory, which kept a seven-figure check out of Robertson's hands.

"It has been a very hectic week," said Robertson. "I definitely haven't gotten much done at work. I can't sit down for more than five minutes before the phone rings again."

Robertson, 30, has become a local celebrity. She is recognized around town and spent almost two hours in a restaurant during her lunch break the other day answering questions from strangers.

Robertson said she has been contacted by lawyers wanting to represent her but has "no intention of seeking legal action."(now! get this last part...) A representative from Jeff Gordon's team has promised to send some autographed souvenirs to Robertson's 6-year-old son. Now, are you believin that crap?? That an 8x10 glossy as far as Jeffy is concerned, will help her forget about losing a million bucks due to his "unapproved part"?? Mercy! That little ferret face sure does think highly of himself, doesn't he?? I sure hope she's made a quiet settlement on the side, cause a wad of souvenirs doesn't pay the bills, or help send that 6 year old to college in a few years.
